How does pricing work for fresh items like meat, seafood, and deli meat?

Some items are priced by weight, and we when you purchase it, we won’t know the exact weight of that product until after the store’s Local Grocery Professional selects it for your order. For this reason, an estimated weight and price are displayed on Rosie’s website. However, you will only be charged for the exact weight and price of the product you receive. For example, if you order one (1) pound of ground beef, and the closest package size at the store is 1.07 pounds, you will will receive that package and be charged for 1.07 pounds of ground beef. This will be clearly shown on your emailed receipt.

Some fresh meat and seafood items (notably lobsters and oysters) may have an average price online but have a "market price" at store. This means that the "price depends on the current market price of items, and the price is available upon request". Market price items may be annotated with the following message in the product description: "We look forward to bringing you the best, freshest meat/seafood. Pricing may be updated on the day that your order is hand-selected to reflect the current market prices. We try to update our prices often, but you may also feel free to call us at and ask a friendly customer service representative for today's market prices."
