Adding Items to an Already Placed Order

Follow

COVID-19 Update: Please note that orders may not be able to be modified after they are placed.

To modify your order, please:

  1. Call the store where you have placed your order, and ask to have items added to your order. You can find your store's phone number by clicking on your name on the upper right or left hand corner of your screen and selecting "Change Stores".

2. Search for the store you want by name, address, or zip code. Once you find the store you want to call, you will see their phone number listed under their address.

3.  When calling the store to request to add an item, please provide the following information

    • First Name, Last Name
    • Your unique order number (example: P10925-4 or D10925-15)
    • Your unique confirmation code (example: CRD8T4)
    • The time your order was scheduled to be picked up or delivered.
    • The items that you would like to add or remove from your order. Please specify the brand, product name, flavor, size and any other preferences (organic, gluten-free, etc.) to help the store hand-select your item.

Note: It is not possible to modify orders after your order has been hand-selected and you have received your final emailed receipt.

This is awfully time consuming.  When will a feature be added "add to order" by "time" ?

We appreciate your patience while we work to make the site a better place to shop. Have a great day!

    Best regards,

FYI...although I do appreciate the delivery feature you should know that it is not possible to add or change your order once submitted. I called the store within my time frame to modify and was told they can not do this. Your credit card is charged when your order is placed. They have no access to credit card info so changes can not be made. I have to say that while County Market would always be my preference, Aldi has a much better online ordering service. Delivery fee is less money and they are a few miles farther away from us than our County Market. I was also allowed to make changes through text message with the shopper that was filling my order.

Thank you so much for instituting curbside pickup. Being in the vulnerable age group, we've been staying home and REALLY missing Weaver Street Market.

There is a lot of back and forth between the site and the store. Instructions on the site (like adjusting the charge for a pickup that lacked items) end up with a "call the store" (this happened with trying to add to the order yesterday--a long back and forth that resulted in "it's not possible".) Trying to adjust the order or get an adjustment to the credit card charge is taking a LOT longer than picking up the order itself (or driving to and from the store, which is not near). I trust this is a shakedown cruise and will get smoother--it's a great service.

OK See if I have this process.  I start an order. I pick a time and date for pickup. As long as I don't click " add order to cart " I can add items to my cart until pull time? Only then will the added items show with your original order? Other than call the store to add items, am I able to do this?

I ordered about 21.00 worth at 12:00 pm.  At 2:00 I placed additional items on a second order.  Will I get two different orders when I pick up?  How can I view the first order?  I think there should be a button that says "Add to Order" and it should not erase the first order.

When I finished the second order, the Store was no longer the Huntsville Store, but had changed to the Canyon Lake Store.  Why does it not default to my hometown store every time?  Bill White

It’s a huge waste of time to call the local store to modify an order. You really need the ability to either add remove or modify an existing order to make this platform extremely useful.

Changing your order is terrible. Wegman's is much better, much better. There's no reason why customers should have to call a change in. It's lazy investment in technology. We only use Gerrity's as a backup to our backup market. The selection is more limited too. It's really a reflection of indifferent customer service.

    Adam,

Thank you for reaching out with that feedback! That is a great idea and our Development Team is already on its way to building this functionality and improving the customer experience. We appreciate your patience while we work to get this built. Hold tight! Have a wonderful evening!

You must really have a superb development team since this comment thread indicates you‘ve been working on the Add Item to Order feature since Nov. 2018.

Why not contact Trigs support team? They have the add to order. It's very easy to use.

Its a shame brookahire does not have their own curbside ordering system. Rosie's is not used friendly. It hurts curbside pick up for the store

Calling a store to add an item is a very bad idea.  I added one item and received a new pick up time and date.   I then called my store and explained to them what happened.  I just hope I don't have 2 identical orders to pick up!

    Kathleen,

Thank you for reaching out to Rosie Support and letting us know! We are sorry this has happened. Currently, the software is not built to make additions to orders at this time, however, our developers are working to upgrade the software to add this feature in the very near future. Right now if you are trying to add items after the order is already placed it will create a totally new order. I have checked and see no duplicate orders at this time. Let us know if you have further questions or concerns.

I appreciate the efforts at curbside pickup but as you've been working at this since November of 2018 maybe you need a new development team. There are way to many online options for shoppers that are designed for the 21st Century. Amazon, Costco and The Exchange are so easy.

Call the store to update? Nope. Walmart is just a block from Super 1.

When I placed my order, it said I could add items up until the cut-off time. There is no cut-off time listed. Now I want to add an item and can't?

    Brandylyn,

Thank you for reaching out to Rosie Support. To add an item to the order you would have to reach out to the store directly and ask them make the change if possible. The add item feature for a customer to add themselves is currently in development and will be available soon. Thank you for your patience as we work to build and make the software better for our customers.

This inability to add an item to a current cart is very frustrating. I am new to Rosie and I tried to add a bunch of items to my order that I need to pick-up tomorrow. It adds them to the cart, but does not add them to the current order. I called the store and they said that I need to call back tomorrow morning...about 6 hours before my pick-up time...and I can add some items. But I added 10 items and they said...oh, that's too many...we could take a few additions and write them down, but not that many. I see this has been an issue since November 2018 when Denise said "we are currently working to get this developed in the near future". It's a year and a half later! When can we REALLY expect this issue to be resolved?

This is by far the worst online shopping app I have ever used. If I order during a sale that ends before I pick up my order the next day, I am charged regular price! If they are authorizing my credit card, I should get the current price. I also do not appreciate having to call the store to add an item, and quite frankly, the store doesn’t like it either. The search feature stinks and having to select the weekly add one page at a time is a pain. This site needs a serious update.

    Hi Janet,

I'm sorry that you are unhappy with Rosie.  It is true, the sales prices online have the same sales dates as they do in the store.  We are constantly working to update the site and coming soon, you will be able to add to your order online.  Thank you so much for all the feedback.

Really wish you guys would add an “add to order” option on the app. It’s a pain to have to call the store and give them all the order information, just to add a simple item you missed.

I totally agree with needing the ability to add on to an order already placed.  Why is the fix taking so long as support has said for months now that it is in progress??

Our Development Team recently spent a lot of time modernizing the site.  The ability to add to an order is coming, I promise!  Thank you for your patience as our team continues to make updates.  We appreciate your feedback and look forward to delivering greater delight.

I love being able to order online but your app really needs some TLC!

-ADD To order - it's a broken record!!

-Search function is super slow and not at all thorough.  Heaven forbid if I don't know exactly what I want

-App doesn't even autofill me phone number.

-Whole app is slow and clunky.

Would love to have these problems fixed!
