Introduction

Rosie has integrated with UberEats (formerly Postmates) to provide delivery services to our retailers across the US.
For background, UberEats currently provides delivery services to several national/regional grocers including Walmart's Online Grocery Shopping program as well as many leading restaurants and retailers including Apple, Starbucks, and Chipotle.

What To Expect 

Here are just a few things you may need to know about Rosie Delivery Powered by UberEats.

Availability

You can still select the time and date of your delivery from the available slots. This gives you the flexibility to plan your day without worrying about missing the drop-off or having to wait around for the driver to arrive.

Pricing

While your quoted delivery fee may vary slightly, Uber Eats calculates delivery fees based on distance. This means you can rely on the delivery price you've been given at checkout.

Tipping

Tipping isn't required but it is appreciated! You can leave a tip for the delivery driver during checkout. 100% of the tip you authorize is passed to Uber Eats.

Order Changes

Due to Uber Eats' functionality, orders cannot be moved from one time slot to another. If you have already placed your order and need to change the slot, the order will have to be canceled and placed again. Please contact support@rosieapp.com if you need assistance moving/canceling orders.

Cancellations

Your order can be canceled before the cutoff time without incurring a fee. In the event of an order canceled before the driver arrives at the store, your delivery fee paid will be refunded. If you need to cancel an order after it has left the store, there is a $5 charge plus any cancellation fees assessed by the store.

Receiving Deliveries from Uber Eats

After picking up your order from the store, the driver will send you a text to let you know they're on their way! You will also receive a text to let you know when they've arrived. Drivers may also contact you by phone if no one answers the door when they arrive.

Bad Weather

Uber Eats makes deliveries rain or shine! In the event of severe weather, there may be some interruption in service to protect the safety of Uber Eats drivers.

Delays

If there are delays due to traffic or weather, your driver may reach out to let you know. In the event that your delivery arrives more than 30 minutes past the expected time, please contact support@rosieapp.com for a refund of your delivery fee.

FAQ

1. How much does delivery cost?

Delivery fees vary by distance from the store you select and the destination of your delivery. We do our best to make sure the fees are as cost-effective as possible. You will be able to see a quote for your delivery fee in checkout.

2. When is delivery available?

We offer delivery 7 days a week from 10 am to 7 pm.

3. Where do you deliver?

As each store is in a different trade area, our delivery provider sets the delivery zones to be all addresses within a reasonable distance from the store selected. Most deliveries take place in a 3-5 mile radius.

4. Who does the delivery? Who is bringing my delivery?

We partner with Uber Eats for delivery. Rosie handles the software and support. Uber Eats provides the delivery service.

5. Can I check on the status of my delivery?

If you need updates on your delivery while it is in progress, please contact at support@rosieapp.com for access to Uber Eats Driver Tracking.

6. Can I leave a tip for the driver that brings my order?

Yes. Tipping is not required but Uber Eats does encourage it. You can leave a tip at checkout.

7. How can I reschedule my order?
