No Contact Delivery

Follow

We take the health and safety of our community seriously and want to remind you of the existing options available for deliveries. If you prefer a No-Contact Delivery or need to request one for health reasons you can make that request in the Delivery Instructions. Your Delivery Provider may also reach out to you through a call or text message when you place an order to request a No-Contact Delivery as well.

If a No-Contact Delivery is requested, the Delivery Provider will leave your order in a safe place and may alert you when it’s ready for pickup. Here’s how this works if you’d like to request one:

Add instructions. At checkout, update the “Delivery Instructions” section with your request for a No-Contact Delivery and with details about the drop-off location. Please be specific about the location and instructions. Note: For age-restricted items, someone of legal age must be present with a valid government ID to accept the delivery.

By requesting No-Contact Delivery you accept full responsibility for your order after it has been delivered unattended, including any loss due to theft or damage due to temperature sensitivity.

This morning I received an order, for which I  had to sign mu name on a sheet. Your management is obviously not paying attention. You endanger your delivery workers and have created a mechanism to spread the virus in your customer zone.

How do we tip the driver if we had contactless delivery? I didn’t see a place on the app.

    Lisa,

Thank you for reaching out to Rosie Support! Some retailers choose to enable tipping on their website and others do not. What the recommendation would be is to make a note on the order advising you will be leaving a tip at the door when the order is delivered. Possibly leave in an envelope or container that is visible. In the meantime, we will recommend to the retailer it would be a good idea to enable tipping moving forward.

A note about tipping: I haven’t been to a bank or anywhere to withdraw (or handle) cash in months, so you do need to put the tip option online. I don’t have cash to leave at the door but would like to tip! Sorry to deliver personnel, but most of us do not have cash in these times!! With Shipt grocery delivery, I can always leave a generous tip online!
